More than 14 Stand Mixer Attachments have been launched in the past years. Proving our love for cakes and bakes, the Flex-edge Beater was a huge success, and who does not love fresh homemade pasta? The Pasta Roller and Cutter Set Attachment has been very well received too. Through the years, some attachments have been discontinued, including the can opener, knife sharpener, oil dripper (for making mayonnaise) and the pea sheller. This is unbelievable! On the 75th anniversary in 1994, KitchenAid launched a search to find the oldest working example of its mixers. Ninety-one-year-old Maude Humes of Pennsylvania, won $7500 for owning a working 1919 Model H. Humes inherited the ancient mixer from an aunt.
