RECIPE OF THE MONTH: Besan Buttermilk Crepes

By: KitchenAid India

Give your morning a burst of protein the fun way. These besan chilas/crepes are easy to get together and taste fabulous. I make them with buttermilk to add to the taste and nutrition. You can add an egg if you like, reducing the buttermilk by 50 ml. Also use ginger and curry patta instead of garlic and coriander. Serve with tangy fresh green chutney, a tomato salsa or cottage cheese inside.

Tropical Mango Cooler

By: Deeba Rajpal

This is like an ‘everything in the fridge’ cooler. Make mangoes your base, then go about adding any fruit or light vegetables you might have on hand. The best part of the slow juicer is that it does all the hard work, leaving you enough time to experiment with what works for you. Add a dash of rock salt and lime if you like, maybe a green chilli for an adult palette. You can even use the Tropical Mango Cooler as a base for a cocktail.
