Rupali Dean, an award winning, Food and Travel writer needs no introduction in the Culinary World. Being a trained hospitality professional , a food photographer and a nutritionist it gives her an edge over any other food and travel writer in the industry.
Following the same footsteps, Akanksha Dean, started her culinary sojourn with a great zest for food. She is following her dream by pursuing a career in Culinary Arts at the IHM Aurangabad. Akanksha and Rupali Dean love travelling for food in search of local flavours and culture and have traveled to destinations like Valencia for Paella, Strasbourg for Foie gras, Niagara by the Lake for Ice wine and many more.
Rupali started her culinary journey in her childhood, her Dad was a food scientist and had invented things like the King cone for Vadilal Ice Creams, The Hot capsico sauce and more such. Later in life Rupali met Chef Bakshish Dean, her soul mate, who is also the CEO of Johnny Rockets. It’s food that bonds them and their daughter so beautifully.
This mother-daughter duo can’t resist a travel which is gastronomically focused. One of the main highlights of their trips is visiting local food markets, cooking classes, fine dining, exploring street food and meeting local chefs.
